Subtle Energy Healer

A journey of awakening, healing and transformation
My relationship with energy healing has evolved over many years through spiritual exploration, yoga, meditation, study, practice and mentorship across Eastern and Western healing traditions.
Over time, I came to a deeper understanding of ourselves as beings of energy and consciousness, and developed a profound love for working with the subtle energies that shape our experience.
Then my own health and life changed in ways I could never have anticipated.
What I had studied became something I had to live.
I know what it is like to lose energy, lose capacity and feel disconnected from the life you once knew. I also know how disorienting it can be to understand a great deal about healing and still feel that something deeper has not resolved.
That experience changed the way I understood this work.
I came to see more clearly that insight and integration are not always the same thing. We can understand what has happened to us and still feel its effects. We can know what we need and still find that some part of us is not ready, able or resourced enough to move forward in the way we think it should.
I also came to understand that healing is not about returning to who we were before, but discovering who we are now.
Sometimes that means giving ourselves permission to shed an old skin. To loosen our grip on the version of ourselves we thought we had to return to, and make space for something new to emerge.
And as we change, we may not show up in the same way for the people in our lives. We may become less available for old roles, patterns or expectations. That can be uncomfortable for those around us, especially when they are used to us being a certain way.
Healing can ask us to trust the person we are becoming, even when that version of us is unfamiliar, as we learn how to inhabit who we are now.
This understanding became central to The Subtle Way.
My work today brings together years of study, practice and mentorship with what I have learned through my own healing. I work with the subtle energetic layers that can sit beneath conscious understanding, supporting release, integration and a deeper connection with yourself.
I do not see healing as something to force. I see it as something we can learn to listen to, support and create space for.
My Approach
This work begins in the unseen.
I work with the subtle energy system, listening and sensing for the deeper patterns that may be influencing how you feel, respond and move through life.
Rather than approaching a session with a fixed idea of what needs to happen, I work with what presents itself. I pay attention to where energy feels depleted, congested, disrupted or out of balance, and allow the session to unfold in response to what your system is showing in that moment.
This is intuitive work, but it is also grounded.
I am not interested in forcing your system into an idea of what healing should look like. I listen for what is ready to shift, what may need support, and where more space, movement or coherence can be invited.
People often tell me they feel calmer in my presence before we have even begun. Clients describe feeling safe and held in a stillness that allows them to let go of some of the story, the effort and the weight they have been carrying.
That quality of space is not something I manufacture. It is simply how I show up, and it matters deeply to this work.
I respect the intelligence of your own system. My role is not to override it, but to work alongside it.
In practice, this may involve:
-
Working intuitively with the subtle energy field, chakras and energy channels
-
Identifying areas of depletion, stagnation, disruption or imbalance
-
Working with energetic patterns associated with stress, difficult experiences and what the system may still be carrying
-
Following what emerges rather than imposing a predetermined agenda
-
Creating a steady and supportive space for your experience to unfold
-
Supporting a deeper connection with your body, your energy and your own inner knowing
Subtle energy healing is gentle by nature. Yet what it touches can be profound.
What I love most is the moment when something shifts. A breath deepens. Something softens. There is a little more space where there was tension before, or a person simply feels lighter and more present in themselves.
Sometimes the shift is immediate. Sometimes it unfolds quietly over time.
Both matter.
Training, Study & Continued Practice
My path into this work began in 2008 through a deep immersion in yoga and a growing exploration of Eastern and Western healing traditions. Alongside this, seven years of personal mentorship gave me an early foundation in energy healing, yogic philosophy and working with the subtle body.
Since then, my study has continued across subtle energy healing, energy medicine, yoga, embodied practices, trauma-informed approaches and health coaching.
I am not interested in collecting modalities for the sake of it.
What matters to me is understanding how different approaches can deepen the way I listen, perceive and work with the person in front of me.
My training gives me frameworks and tools. Practice, experience and intuition shape how I use them.
Over the years, I have trained in Reiki, Pranic Healing, Quantum Touch, Hatha Yoga, Classical Tantric Yoga and Energy Medicine Yoga®, alongside further study in subtle energy, consciousness, trauma-informed methodologies and health coaching.
I continue to learn through ongoing study, practice and mentorship with teachers whose work has influenced my understanding, including Cyndi Dale, Penny Kelly, Kara-Leah Grant, Lauren Walker, & Christopher Tompkins.
This is not a body of knowledge I consider complete.
My practice continues to evolve through study, lived experience and an ongoing willingness to listen, question and learn.

Sometimes the way forward is subtle.
Healing does not always arrive as a dramatic breakthrough.
Sometimes it is a breath that comes more easily. A pattern that no longer has the same hold. A little more space where there was tension before. A clearer sense of what is yours, what you need, and who you are becoming.
Subtle does not mean insignificant.
The quietest shifts can change the way we meet ourselves, our energy and our lives.
If something in you is ready to be met differently, you are welcome to explore the ways we can work together.
Warmly,
Anna
