How you begin your day can shape how you feel as you move into it.

On low energy days when even getting out of bed feel like too much, the last thing you need is a practice that asks you to push, stretch deeply, or power through.

This practice meets you where you are. Whether you begin lying in bed, resting on the floor, or somewhere in between, this is enough.

Practice With Me

The Energy Medicine Yoga Wake Up for Low Energy Days Supports:

  • Anyone navigating fatigue, burnout, or adrenal exhaustion

  • Those living with chronic illness, POTS, ME/CFS, or Fibromyalgia

  • Those with limited mobility or low energy reserves

  • Those wanting a gentler way to begin the day without depleting themselves further

  • Anyone who simply needs to move slowly and listen to their body

You don't need to keep up, stretch hard, or make your practice look like anyone else's. Listen to your body and let the practice adapt to you.

What This Practice Brings Together

This gentle floor and bed-based practice weaves together two powerful yet accessible approaches:

Energy Medicine Yoga® Wake Up — developed by Lauren Walker, it integrates Eden Energy Medicine principles into a yoga-inspired morning practice, designed to gently awaken the body's energy systems and support healthy flow throughout the day.

The Eden Energy Medicine Daily Energy Routine — developed by Donna Eden, is a sequence of simple, hands-on techniques designed to balance and harmonise your energy field, support your immune system, and bring greater vitality and resilience to your day.

Together they create something gentle, nourishing, and deeply supportive when you need extra care.

If lying down is where you need to begin, stay there. If you can move to the floor, that is wonderful. This practice works in both positions, adapt it to wherever your body is today.

There is no pushing, no deep stretching, and no powering through. The intention is simply to meet your body where it is and offer your energy system some gentle support as you begin your day.

Listen to your body. Modify anything. Skip anything. This is your practice.

A Note on Consistency

A gentle daily practice, even just a few minutes, can make a meaningful difference over time.

If you are navigating chronic illness or fatigue, consistency matters more than intensity. You can make this a daily practice, or return to it whenever you need it.
